This boot slider has saved my wife from pain and many grunts and groans trying to get on her boots especially the one with the frozen big toe joint. This product preforms as advertised

just had a chance to try it over the last few weeks, it helped a lot. the only thing i would like to try would be a little wider one than the one i used. i have a wide right foot and the wider one might help. the product worked as advertised , would highly recommend this to anyone who has trouble putting their boots on, i’m 71 years old and it works.

Thanks for the comment! Yes, it is a bit narrow to help getting it into the boot, but we know it’s not ideal for people with wide feet. As we expand our product line, we’ll keep this in mind. Thanks again!

I will get the easy part out of the way first: the product works great. Not only does it speed up, putting the ski boots on, but it saves a lot of pain and stress on the joints and the ligaments trying to squirm your foot into them and for a man my age, this is very important.
The most critical component of this review is my experience with the customer service. A lot of companies just talk, but David Sears went above and beyond my expectations for customer service in my particular case. He replied to my initial email of concern within half an hour on a Sunday! He offered no excuses and no compromises for the challenge I had with delivery. The returning email contained all the information to make this right. And it did. I was shocked and until I used the bootslider for the first time today, right on the mountain with no practice, I didn’t believe this would work out. So, support a small business that values its customers and sells a simple but useful solution to needless stress and pain.

I have been skiing since 1957 and have always worn performance boots but they became harder and harder to pull on. I thought about packing a folding chair and I even wore my left boot while driving up to the resort. No longer! They curl into place inside the boot so your foot slips in and the slider slips back out almost effortlessly. Love love love ’em!

I bought the boot slider as a stocking stuffer for my husband. But after trying it myself, I am leaving it handy for anyone who wants help getting their ski boots on. My foot easily slid right in the first time I used it and I will be using it every time from now on!

Great product. Makes getting into a ski boot very easy. The material allows your foot to move easily into the boot.

The boot slider has been very helpful, especially compared to other options. An interesting material that really does slide. But when the boot or foot is particularly stiff, it takes a lot of force to pull the slider out. The third time I used it the cord broke (actually the plastic holding the cord in a loop) while pulling the slider out. I was able to tie a knot and still use the cord to pull, but now it doesn’t fit well around the rolled up slider. (I have a big rubber band, not elegant, but it works.) Perhaps you should just go with a knot and a longer piece of cord and forget the useless plastic thingie!

Hi Juanita – Thanks for the feedback. Glad this works for you, but yes, the retrieval from really tight/stiff boots (and feet) can be tricky. We actually tried the knot idea during testing, but people didn’t like it and it seemed for most the plastic joiner was preferred and stood up, but I definitely know what you are saying and we will continue to work on this. We’ll send out a longer cord for you today; hope that helps! Happy skiing, David @ Boot Sliders

The BS works. Thanks.

I have tried using several boot sliders. This one is the best. Easing the sliding of the front of the foot distinguishes this boot slider.

I just had my ankle replaced and my lack of good range of motion prevents me from easily putting on ANY boot. These have been a lifesaver for getting winter, ski, riding and casual boots!

Just used this for the first time. The slider makes the most difficult part of my ski day a lot easier! 🙂 Hooray!

Love the boot slider! I always struggled with putting my ski boots on. Not anymore! Problem solved with the boot slider! My foot slides right in there easy as can be. No more crying and sweating trying to get my foot in the boot! Just bought another one for my husband.
