I asked for this for Christmas because I have a tough time getting into my ski boots. Well, not anymore. The Slider works perfectly. My foot doesn’t bind halfway into the boot as my heel just slips right in. Then you just pull the Slider out and repeat with the other boot. I’m ready to buy a backup as I don’t ever want to put on my boots without a Boot Slider again.

I learned how to ski as an adult and I think some can agree that there are many barriers to entry with the sport… like getting over fear of heights to learn the dang thing, lift prices, lines, being cold, and then going through all of that while wearing boots you have to crush your feet to get into! While the Boot Sliders may not be able to solve all problems, it cuts the time it usually takes me to put boots on to less than a minute and vanquishes any fear of putting out my back in the process. Its light, packable, does well in the cold, and converts a once painful process into one I hardly have to think about. Highly recommend!

As I get older and closer to getting the senior discount I find putting on my ski boots to be more difficult. It is one of the least favorite parts of the day. I just got a new pair of boots for this 2024-2025 ski season (Atomic Hawkx) with the new Boa closure system. I had hoped that getting into my boots would be easier (improved technology, etc.) but alas, I still struggled. I somehow found Boot Sliders and ordered one up. I’ve had a pretty active season and the Boot Slider DEFINITELY helps me get into my boots. I’ve used Boot Slider with various brands of ski socks (Smartwool, etc.) and it helps me get into the boot much more easily. I like that both sides of the Boot Slider are “slick” so I can insert the Boot Slider into the boot based on how it is “curling”. The cord has help up well. I mostly don’t use it (to pull the Boot Slider out) but sometimes will. I predict using this great product for many seasons to come!

Product works well & the compact size is a plus, compared to other products on the market. BUT, after one season of daily use…65 days of skiing, the material has become warped. Too bad I cannot upload a photo of the product with this review to illustrate, but I imagine I am not the only user with this experience. I’ll continue to use the product and will recommend, but perhaps some more R&D is needed.

Bought this for my wife as a stocking stuffer. As skiers know, putting tight fitting boots on is one of the most dreaded parts of the process. She always struggled with it and I would help her get them on most times. I was in search of something to make things easier on the both of us and things I were finding seemed overly complicated. I bought new boots this season (Salomon SPro Supra with Boa on the lower section.) I love the boots once I have them on but it’s been really difficult to get my feet into them. I’ve never had this trouble before with previous ski boots so this was a new problem for me. Maybe it’s the Boa, maybe it’s just the boots. I saw an article about the Boot Slider and decided it was worth gambling $25 to see if this would help. I’m happy to say the product delivers. It’s not like my foot magically glides in now, but it is a whole lot easier and well worth the money. It’s simple to use, small in size, and very convenient.
